When I read this article, it gave me goosebumps, I was so thrilled and, therefore, wanted to share this exciting information with all the parents. Great News: There is a difference between ADHD and Excecutive function disorder (EFD).  Though, the symptoms overlap, but they are different. It’s NOT always ADHD!

Often times, parents have asked me if it is not ADHD, then what is it? Is tutoring going to help my child?  Who and where should my child receive help and support?

Tutoring is NOT always the answer or solution. If there is an underlying issue, then tutoring alone will not solve the issue. First, the underlying issues need to be taken care of and an Educational Therapist is the one who takes care of any underlying issues.

Educational Therapists are like Sherlock Holmes, developing case studies by finding out clues, targeting behavior deficits, collecting evidence

in the form of data and trying to solve the problem by implementing different interventions or solutions. Educational Therapists solve the puzzle by putting together all the appropriate pieces in appropriate places.
